Holiday Cards for the Troops

Students created and wrote holiday cards for the troops overseas. A marine came in to the room to collect the cards and visit with the room.

Family Fun Night

Students and their families were encouraged to visit Family Fun Night. Many different games and activities were set up to provide families a fun-filled night. I worked at the free-throw game station, where students shot as many free throws as they could in 1 minute and received prizes.

Family Science Night
Woodworth Elementary

I volunteered to participate in the Elementary School Science Night. My experiment was creatively titled "ELEPHANT TOOTHPASTE." All of the students loved the point when the hydrogen peroxide and potassium iodide mixed together and created a fizzing chemical reaction.

Coaching LMS Cheerleading

I coached the Leslie Middle School 7th and 8th grade cheerleading teams. My cheerleaders learned game chants, jumps, tumbling, stunts and cheers that were performed at games, pep assemblies, and exhibitions.
